PRIPREMA:    

Papriku oprati odseći vrhove, izvaditi žilice i preostale semenke i redjati u posudu u kojoj će se i kuvati tj. peći u rerni. Luk iseći sitno, prodinstati (propržiti na laganoj temperaturi) i kad postane staklast dodati meso i viljuškom ga razdvajati da ne ostanu grudvice. Kad meso promeni boju dodati pirinač, suvi začin i začinsku papriku. Nakon par minuta isključiti šporet i smesom puniti papriku manjom kašikom (ne do vrha paprike pošto će pirinač nabubriti). Svakoj napunjenoj paprici staviti kapicu od paradajza ili i paradajza i paprike (deo oko peteljke očišćen od semenki)… Nasuti malo posoljene vode do polovine paprike i staviti u rernu poklopljeno. Peći oko 45 min. zatim otklopiti i peći još 40-60 min – dok skoro sva voda ne ispari i paprika dobije lepu koricu.

Varijanta 2: Papriku na isti način staviti na ringlu, u odgovaraju posudu, i kuvati poklopljeno 60 min. na laganoj temperaturi
