PRIPREMA : 

Papriku oprati, očistiti od semena i sundjerastih niti na kojima su bile semenke duž paprike. Iseći na polovine pa četvrtine ukoliko su paprike veće. U medjuvremenu u široj šerpi prokuvati vodu. Isečenu papriku (šaku -dve) ubaciti u ključalu vodu oko 1 min. i tako je blanširati. Vaditi je viljuškom i kad je sva blanširana puniti tegle. Ako je tegla manja i teža za punjenje pomoći se drškom varjače. Redjati tako da spolji deo paprike bude okrenut prema otvoru tegle a na sredini punjenja posuti belim lukom (ne mora). Napuniti do donjeg oboda otvora tegle i naliti tečnošću za zimnicu. Čvrsto zatvoriti tegle i ostaviti na tamnom i hladnom mestu.

PRIPREMA TEČNOSTI ZA KISELU PAPRIKU:

U posudu nasuti šećer, so, vinobran i konzervans,  dodati sirće mešajući i dodati vodu (iz česme-nema kuvanja). Mešati dok se so i šećer ne istope.
