PRIPREMA:  

Polovinu luka i šargarepu narendati, drugu polovinu luka sitno iseći i  dodati nagnječena čena belog luka i  lagano dinstati na ulju. Kad omekša,  (5-7 minuta) dodati meso, lovor i uz stalno mešanje prodistati i meso uz povremeno dodavanje malo vode (tek da pokrije dno posude).  Kad meso promeni boju nasuti vodu da prekrije meso, staviti začine i kad prokuva narendati krompir i krčkati na laganoj temperaturi najmanje sat vremena. Ako se dodaje sveža ili sušena ljuta paprika staviti je na početku kuvanja a ako je mlevena, pri kraju. Na polovini kuvanja dodati belo vino. Po potrebi dodavati po malo vode i tako odrediti gustinu – po kusu. Kad je gulaš skoro gotov dodati paradajz sok, slatku  začinsku papriku (dodati i ljutu po ukusu). Služiti uz makarone, krompir, samostalno….
